U.G. Classes were started in 1958 under the headship of Prof. P.N. Chatterjee. He was the only teacher in the department during this period. Results remained good consistently during this period.


P.G. Classes were started in 1965 under the headship of Prof. P.N. Chatterjee, Dr. S.C. Agarwal, Prof. R.L. Gupta, Prof. R.K. Goel, Dr. V.K. Agarwal, Smt. Shashi Prabha Sethi joined the department during this period. Results remained good consistently during this period.


During this period Dr. S.C. Agarwal and Dr. V.K. Agarwal were awarded Ph.D. degree in Operations Research and Elasticity respectively. The results remained excellent during this period. During this period Dr. Sunder Lal, Prof. Babu Lal, Prof. Shreemani and Dr. S.C. Agarwal got positions in the university Merit List.


Some students got positions in the University Merit List. Over all results were excellent during this period.

Dr. Hari Kishan joined the department on 16 Oct, 1993.In the year 1994 Km. Swati Agarwal got position in the University Merit List. Results remained good the during this period. Two research papers of Dr. Hari kishan were published in this period. One research scholar was awarded Ph.D. degree under the supervision of Dr. Hari kishan.


In this period Mr. Yunush, Km. Sapna Jain, Km. Meenakshi Rani and Km. Chhavi Maheswari got positions in the University Merit List. Over all results were excellent during this period. Dr. Bindu Vaish and Dr. Ruchi Goel joined the department on 15th Dec. 1999.Dr. Shiv Raj Singh joindi the department on 21st Dec 1999. Shri Babu lal joined.the department on July 2000 Five research papers of Dr. Hari Kishan were published. Two research scholars were awarded Ph.D. degree under the supervision of Dr. Hari Kishan. One research scholar was awarded Ph.D. degree under the supervision of Dr. V.K. Agarwal.

During this period over all results were good and Mr. Tarun Jeet Singh got Ist position in the University Merit List in the year 2004. Mr. Manish and Mr. Sarab Jeet Singh, Mr. Chaman Singh, Mr. Amit Sharma, Mr. Sudhir Kumar Yadav, Mr. Narayan Singh, Mr. Sanjay Singh, Miss. Richa Jain, Miss.Priyanka Sharma, Miss. Priti Chahuhan, Miss.Pranjali Sharma passed the NET Examination during this period. Mr.Jitendra Kumar qualify the GATE examination with 19 ranks. Mr. Manish was selected for DRDO. Three research papers of Dr. Hari Kishan were published and three research scholars were awarded Ph.D. degree under the supervision of Dr. Hari Kishan. One research scholar was awarded Ph.D. degree under the supervision of Dr. V.K. Agarwal, Dr. V.K. Agarwal became the principal of the college in July 2002 and worked as principal up to Dec 2003. The department was shifted in the new building in Oct 2003. Dr Shiv Raj Singh was awarded Ph.D. degree on 12th Dec 2004. Smt Bindu Vaish submitted her Ph.D. thesis on 29th Nov 2004. Four faculty members, Dr. Hari Kishan, Smt. Bindu Vaish, Smt. Ruchi Goel and Dr. Shiv Raj Singh got minor Research Projects under the U.G.C Scheme. Smt. Ruchi Goel was registered for Ph.D. degree during this period and she is going to submit her thesis very soon. Two research papers of Smt. Bindu Vaish were published. Three research papers of Dr. Shiv Raj Singh were published in this year 2005, 15 students of M.Sc. final submitted their dissertation.
